How Do I Avoid Getting My Chair Wet When Getting Out of the Bath Or Pool?

How do I go to and from the pool/tub without getting water on my chair?

Before you get into the water, remove the cushion from your chair and drape a towel over it. The towel should be long enough to cover the back of the chair and completely drape over the seat.

When you get out of the water, before transferring into the chair, dry yourself off and then wrap another towel around your waist/midsection and secure it so that it doesn’t fall off if you’re not holding it. Then, transfer into your chair. The towel on the chair and the towel around you will keep things dry while you move around / get dressed.
