Do you know if there are alternatives to the locking lever on air pump valves (the little thing you have to flip up to lock the pump valve onto the air stem)? I’m looking for an electric pump and asking around local bike shops but I’m having a really hard time finding one without something that required a lot of hand strength/function to use.
I had to do some serious digging on this one. There’s a bunch of stuff out there where you’re meant to swap out the valve on the thing you’re trying to infate to make it easier to attach/detach a pump from, but something tells me you’re not going to find that helpful.
One recommendation I could find is for an existing pump JACO Lightning Air Chucks. Instead of a lever, this uses a push-style connection. I definitely read reviews before diving into this, however. Some folks online say the connection can be a little finicky.
If you’re willing to get a whole new pump that uses push-style connections, you can check out the FLEXTAILGEAR Mini Bike Tire Pump.
Note that I’ve not used either of these devices. These are just the best things I can find based on your criteria.
