How Do I improve the Suspension on My Mobility Scooter?

I use a folding scooter (Tzora Easy Travel) and it works great, for the most part. However, bumps drive me crazy. I have to lift my feet with every bump in the sidewalk or extend my legs and look mildly ridiculous doing so. Do you know of any devices I could use to lessen the shocks?

end quote.

The problem with portable mobility scooters is that they often sacrifice having a decent (and therefore heavy) suspension system to being lighter and easier to fold.

The particular brand of scooter you mentioned does come in a version that has a suspension system built into the seat, but it doesn’t fold.

I recommend you practice reading the sidewalk and work on avoiding rougher areas, if possible.
