I understand this feeling. You want to be seen as an equal to your peers despite not only your disability, but any accommodations in place to help you succeed. The truth is that people are gonna see what they want to see. You can either spend your time trying to earn their respect or spend your time trying to earn an education but you can’t do both. Focus on what matters the most to you and don’t worry about what others may think.
