Should I Kneel Down When Talking to a Wheelchair User?

The answer to this question varies from person to person. If I’m in a loud room or area or someone is trying to show me something, I often find it helpful if that person kneels down when talking to me. However, for casual conversation, I don’t think it helps at all and can honestly make the situation awkward. Also, when you do get up from kneeling, do not use the person’s wheelchair for support. If you can’t get up on your own, I highly suggest not kneeling in the first place.
